Brett was born in Hallock, Minnesota and graduated from Lancaster Public High School in 2001. He was a 4-sport athlete, playing football, baseball, basketball and running track. Brett discovered his passion for physical therapy through rehab for a number of serious ankle injuries which sidelined him from the sports he loved. Brett obtained his B.S. in Exercise Science from the University of North Dakota in 2005. From there he went on to complete the academic coursework for his Masters of Science with a focus in Kinesiology. Feeling unfinished, Brett went on to complete his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) through the University of North Dakota and graduated in 2011.
After completing two, 9-week clinical experiences, Brett decided RehabAuthority was the fit for him as he embraced the fun, family atmosphere here. Brett is very motivated and excited for the opportunity to share his knowledge with his patients and to help them feel better again.
Being a Minnesota native, Brett enjoys participating in all outdoor activities including camping, snowboarding, dirt-biking, and especially fishing. If he’s not outdoors you can find this weekend-warrior playing softball, flag football, or lifting weights. He loves spending time with friends and family.
