Albert Einstein once said that "Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous." This quote serves as a summary of how Rob Vining ended up working with the team at RehabAuthority.
Rob grew up just south of Houston in Lake Jackson, Texas where he played multiple sports. He loved the competition and ability to push his physical limit to become a better athlete. An injury during high school placed Rob in a physical therapy clinic where he was intrigued and learned more about PT as a career. He decided to go to Southwest Texas State University where he could focus on getting into their physical therapy program and walk on to their college football team as a defensive back.
In 2003 during one of his internships, he was first introduced to the treatment concept of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, or more commonly known as the "McKenzie Method". He worked around multiple Certified McKenzie therapists and after graduation, was placed to work in the same clinic as two of the McKenzie International Faculty.
From that time to the present, Rob was lucky enough to work in settings that allowed him to build a vast rolodex of patients, from young to old, and high level athletes to weekend warriors to post surgical patients. Rob was also lucky enough to bump into Galen and Adam at the McKenzie credentialing examination in Austin, Texas. Adam mentioned that he ran a clinic in Kuna, the exact town Rob's wife was from... They parted ways with Rob promising to call them when his family decided to move back to Karrie's home state.
Rob is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with such a talented crew of PT's and staff. He and his family are expecting another little girl soon and his wife can finally chalk up her dreams of obtaining her PhD in counseling and moving back home all in the same year! Rob and Karrie both enjoy staying in shape through running and working out as well as hiking/biking and just spending time together as a family. “Texas Rob”, as he’s been nick-named at RehabAuthority, is looking forward to making Idaho his family’s permanent home, and helping the people of Karrie’s home-town in Kuna!

His philosophy is to include the patient in many facets of care by establishing goals and helping them to meet those goals, as well as educating them on their condition and treatment strategies to maximize and improve their quality of life. His ultimate goal is for his patients to develop positive lifestyle changes and prevention strategies so they continue to be active, healthy, and pain free.
Jeremy enjoys all types of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, swimming, rafting, camping, snowboarding, hunting and fishing. He also enjoys athletic activities including football, wrestling, weight lifting, and running.
